Photography is a large hobby of mine, and these days, I probably spend more time fiddling with a troublesome speck on a photograph or lurking around alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.gothic then playing games.
For those who must know, I use a Pentax Spotmatic with a faulty lightmeter and a flash that gives you an electric shock every time you use it. It's forty years old, and I'm sentimental. There are a few in here that came from a Kodak DC210 digital camera, and I'm slowly being converted.
I use a HP Scanjet 5p, which seems to do the job, and follow it up with a mixture of programs but most particularily Macromedia's Fireworks 2, Kai's Photo Soap and Jasc's Paint Shop Pro 5 for the gritty bits, ACDSee for browsing, and MS Photo Editor for file sizes (I *knew* it had it's uses).
Of course, copyright applies, as with everything else. I'm pretty easy about other people using my photos, but fer chrissakes *ask*. I'll be flattered. But if I find my photos on other websites or whathaveyou without my permission, I'll be forced to start watermarking. And that's just a pain in the butt.
